What is ThermaPhoto?
The ThermaPhoto™ is Dr. Ablon’s patented trademark. The ThermaPhoto™ treatment series is a new and innovative way that combines the Thermacool TC non-ablative Radio Frequency System and the MultiLight Laser Facial. The ThermaCool TC is a non-ablative RadioFrequency System designed to heat and tighten underlying tissue, while protecting epidermal surfaces with a cryogen cooling system. The MultiLight Laser Facial is a variable long pulsed laser energy used for the treatment of benign vascular and pigmented lesions.
What is the purpose of this procedure?
The purpose of this procedure is to lighten, fade, or remove benign blood vessels, birthmarks, sun damage, pigmentation spots and stimulate new collagen formation. The ThermaPhoto™ treatment series is a non-invasive method to lift, smooth and tighten skin, making skin look and feel younger. It is a full skin thickness repair treatment, both epidermal and dermal.
What type of results can I expect?
Unlike a face-lift, the ThermaPhoto™ requires no cutting, scars or wound healing on the surface. With each following month, your skin forms new collagen and removes and repairs damaged cells. Tissue contraction can be immediate, while simultaneously erasing the signs of aging such as sunspots, broken capillaries and wrinkles.
What is the recovery time?
After the procedure is completed, you may resume all your normal activities immediately. There is no recovery time needed. The full effect of your treatment develops over a few months following the procedure and can be expected to last for several months or years. As with any cosmetic procedure, the results can be expected to fade gradually over time, at which time the procedure can be repeated if desired.
Where can this procedure be applied?
Thermaphoto™ can be used successfully on the face, neck, upper arms, thighs and abdomen. Both men and women can be treated.
Combination procedures (fillers, botulinum toxin and lasers) will afford you the greatest overall results.
