Thermismooth

The ThermiSmooth is a non-ablative radio frequency system designed to heat and tighten underlying tissue. While radiofrequency bypasses the top layer of skin called the epidermis, it leads to tightening of the dermal tissue collagen and elastin. Typically three procedures are performed 3 weeks apart, and subsequently once a year for maintenance. We place shields in your eyes to protect them from the heat of the radiofrequency. Because this procedure does not damage the skin, side effects are rare.

Short-term side effects can include:

• Swelling
• Redness/erythema
• Mild burning
• Bruising
